Hello everyone,

I am using the mmWave Demo Visualizer to show the range-Doppler heat map, and I was wondering if there was a way to extract the power levels of each pixel in the map (or the ADC bit number) for me to do an SNR study of the object?

Hi,

The range-Doppler heat map is sent from the EVM to the PC Host through UART. You could use Matlab to capture and process the heat map.

Sorry but could you please tell me in greater detail how do I go about to capture and process the map? where can I find the necessary m files to do so?

Hi Yanjun,

For this you could use the capture demo, this will be able to get you the sensor's raw data.
