IWR1443BOOST: IWR1443Boost layout question?

There are two blind via on the top of U2 pin C15 and B14 of IWR1443 boost layout, what is the purpose of these two via? the drill will make the BGA pads C15 and B14 goes away. Can someone explain this?

Hello,

These vias would help in routing near by signals, also helps in routing inner row signals as well.

You are right this will affect the pads, however we do fill the via with a non-conductive expoxy and capped with the copper plating to ensure the flat surface.

This instruction is captured in the PCB Fabrication note as "Via_filling_requirment document" in design files http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sprr253.
