If NERROR_IN is not used, can we leave this pin (P7) open without 10 k ohm resistor?

Hello,
In the datasheet, Table 4-2, pg16, the NERROR_IN, P7 ball, does not have a pullup resistor. If you want your IWR1443 to work with the ERROR SIGNALLING MODULE (see RTM) you need a pullup resistor. I recommend using the EVM current value.

Thanks! You mean we can leave P7 open if we do not use NERROR_IN, this what I want to verify.

Hello,
What I said is that nERROR In is used with the Error Signaling Module. It is pulled up on the EVM. If you don't use the nERROROut,
then the contribution is not a problem. From an antenna-input component since its HiZ it should have a pullup.

How could ERROR_IN impact the antenna input? If Hi Z and leave it open (impedance not being impacted), it should not impact the antenna input.

It doesn't affect the RF antenna input. An unterminated input has an ESD-antenna affect if there is no pull down or pull up resistor.

P7 pin is under IWR1443 (internal row), I am thinking leave it open, no ESD could reach there and make the layout easier. If the ESD come from the adjacent traces or pins under the device U2, that means ESD already damage the device.
