IWR1443BOOST: IWR1443Boost layout question

Part Number: IWR1443BOOST

There are some rectangular cut on the layer (GND) under PMIC device, any one know the purpose of those cut? Can you give us the exact position of them?

Hello,

The PMIC layout guidance is shown in the LP87524B datasheet. There are Cadence Free Viewers to measure distance on the layout.

I have attached two pictures from the bottom. L6, and bottom + GND L5, L6.

L5 holes are the vias from L6 to other areas.

L6 there are no cuts,

I am talking about the cut on the layer 2 ground not layer 5, do you know why it need these cut off? See the high lighted .

Hello,
In the LP87524B datasheet it discusses that AGND and PGND (noisy) need to be carefully laid out. The cuts on L2 do not connect L2 and L5 GND under or near the PMIC. The microvias connect L1 to L2 for RF GND. There are other vias that connect L1, L2, to L5 near the mmwave sensor.
