As I have mentioned in another thread, I got a AFE5809EVM and a TSW1400 EVM, and have some trouble in using the AFE5809EVM GUI.
Now I can test the ADC,LNA and VCA functions, so far it seems no problem. However, when I enable the demodulator in the GUI, it is very frustrating.....
1. The output code that I get in HSDC GUI is always not what I expected, seems 2's complent..., and changing the ADC output bit order have no effect, is that right?
2. In the demod M =4 I/Q test mode, changing the DEC_SHIFT_FORCE value makes no difference, the output sine amplitude is very small. DEC_SHIFT_FORCE_EN is set.
3. It seem that I can't directlly access to the registers using the GUI. every time I read from an address, I get 0x0, or 0xFFFF.
4. the HSDC GUI get collapsed easily. I am running it on windows 7
