OPT8241: OPT8320 getting data from Voxel Viewer and Voxel CLI

Hello:

I'm working on a project with a Seeed DepthEye 3D visual ToF Depth Camera based on OPT8320, using Voxel Viewer for visualize the data. I try to convert the .vxl file that I get from Voxel Viewer, but I can't convert to .bin data getting the log:

AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'scan'

Also I tryed with Voxel SDK running VoxelCLI but I only get noise and the sensor start to overheat, I was looking for the course on Time-of-Flight sensors, but there aren't the videos for Voxel Viewer and the Introduccion for Voxel SDK, can you upload the videos for get a better guide of the use of Voxel SDK?

    Hi Alejandro,

    Which version of Voxel Viewer are you using? The latest version (0.9.10) does not have this error. Please tell which version of VoxelCLI you have as well.

    Could you elaborate which parts you want explained better?

    You can get all the functions of VoxelCLI using the "help" command. 

    I'm working on a project with a Seeed DepthEye 3D visual ToF Depth Camera based on OPT8320

    This camera was not added to VoxelSDK by us. Can you point me to the VoxelSDK code for this camera on Github? Is it on a fork of voxelsdk?

    I was using the version (0.9.11) of Voxel Viewer downloaded from: github.com/.../DepthEyeSdk
    When I installed the version (0.9.10) I get the same with VoxelCLI, just noise and heath on the camera
    I want to know how can I configurate this camera for use it, I'm afraid that you not comercialize this device anymore, the OPT8320, I can't find the category on the blog

    Sorry if is a basic question, I'm begining with ToF

    Alejandro, 

    We do not know the register settings of the SEEED camera. Please contact their customer support for the solutions. The viewer they're using is a modified version of the TI Voxel Viewer software. Even the SDK is modified for their own camera. There are too many unknowns for us and it will be best to ask them for support. 

    OPT8320 will be up on the web again soon.It is not online as of now.
