CCS/IWR1443BOOST: IWR1443BOOST

Part Number: IWR1443BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR1642BOOST

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

The Visualizer worked great on the IWR1443BOOST and IWR1642BOOST for many months.  Recently, it asked for a CLOULD UPDATE and now it does not work after installing it.  Do we need to use a new High Accuracy txt file to go with the new Visualizer?  It shows the ports and everything looks good but it never runs.

I then tried a brand new Windows 10 computer with the visualizer.  It never asked for the serial ports but device manager has them.  I clicked on the bottom left < > and nothing happened.  Is there a USB file I can force it to install?

  • Hi Peter,

Please confirm that this is still happening to you. Both are known issues for GUI Composer programs but can usually be resolved by a restart of the browser or machine.

    A few tips:

First make sure you clear your browser cookies, another thread on this can be found here: e2e.ti.com/.../2520866

Also make sure you are always using Google Chrome, it looks like the second browser is Internet Explorer.

  • I have tried it on 2 PCs and still cannot get it to work.  Everything looks good but it simply will not run in Chrome.  Our software developer cannot make it run on Chrome but it Does run on IE (oddly).  We will continue to fool with it.  I wish you guys would do a simple EXE that we can load on our desktop.  This Visualizer is too tricky to make work reliably with all of the different OS, browsers, versions and other variables.

  • Hi Peter,

I'd recommend reinstalling TI Cloud Tools, there was recently an update (in the last week) to resolve issues like this.

Offline usage is definitely an option, you'll need GUI Composer runtime for this. A download and procedure for this is available here: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Category:GUI_Composer
