Hi,

I work with the AWR1642Boost for a while. Now, I want to use the DMM-interface.

The goal is to feed radar data into the AWR1642. This data shall be analyzed by the AWR1642 and sending back the detected objects and the velocity over the UART interface.

After a look into the technical reference, I’m not sure about which data are await at the data pins. If I use e.g. 4 data pins, act it like 4 RX antennas and each pin awaits the data of a single RX antenna?

A short example of which data need to be send to which pin to have a “playback” would be very helpful.

Is there an example script how to configure the dmm-interface for Matlab?

And how to feed the pins? Using a function generator?

Hello Marius,

Can you provide some more clarification on the application? What kind data are you sending to the device? Is sounds like you are trying to feed simulated chirps into the device, in which case this will not work. The DMM is a digital interface.
