DRV425: magnet detection

I am using a DRV425 sensor for tracking a magnet as part of my research. A tracking distance range ideal for my purpose is 2-80 mm.

I have the DRV425EVM on an Arduino board. I can see output voltage varying as a function of the distance of the magnet to the sensor.

However, I find that the sensor readings show no change when the magnets distance is more than 10mm.

Is there anything that I can do to improve the range of sensitivity up to 100mm.

Hello Sabarinath,

We have a reference design on this that you can leverage, link below. You may need to get more averages and use two evm to get remove a common field like the on contributed by the earth's magnetic field. Another issue could be the orientation of your magnet. Please verify that the field will be at the largest strength in the axes of sensitive of the DRV425.
