What is the difference between awr1642 and iwr 1642.

I want the hardware which gives cluster points of an object so that i can use it for fusion. Pls help me out.

My code for fusion is in c++ . Can i use the cluster points obtained from the ti device to use it my code . If yes , pls provide some hints. Plssss help me out

You can use any device awr1642 or iwr1642.

Which demo do you plan to use? SRR?

Hi,

For your experiments you can use any of the chips iwr1642 or awr1642. AWR1642 chip is qualified for automotive use. However this should not be important for you since you only want to run experiments.

With xWR1642 you will be able to detect cars ~100m.

First step is to purchase an AWR1642BOOST EVM

Second step is to run the SRR demo:

Hello caser, thanks for taking my concern . Can i use my own alorithms which are implemented in c++. Can i use this radar data f om awr1642 to read to my alos in c++. Pls help me out caser. Thank you caser for u r help.

Hi,

The data received from the AWR1642 is not the raw radar data coming from ADC.

If you need the raw ADC data, you will not be able to capture more than one buffer with the AWR1642 board

Thanks for your answer , my main target is i have to get raw radar data from targets process it to peak list and then form rsp clusters. Which boards support this?

2 . After clustering ill perform fusion to get object list .

To do all these process what all things i should purchase along with awr1642 boost? .

Or is there any other boards that support my things?
