Hi,

Can mmwave sdk 1.2 SW run ok on AWR1642 ES2.0 chip? Or what change need to do to make it work?

Is there any software way (e.g. some register value) to know the silicon version of AWR1642?

mmWave SDK 1.2 can't run on AWR1642 ES2.0 silicon. There are firmware updates which will make the ES 1.0 Sw incompatible with ES 2.0

Is there any API interface change in new firmware for AWR1642 ES2.0 chip? Is it ok to only update the firmware for ES2.0 and using sdk1.2 code base on AWR1642 ES2.0?

Hi,

The SDK 1.2 does not support ES 2.0.

It is not OK to only update the firmware
