AWR1243BOOST: Design Files import failed

Hi,

a customer has a problem importing the database.7z from the Design Files of the AWR1243BOOST.

The readme says that Cadence ADW should be able to view this.

The customer says that it points to ADW_Library/... which does not exist in the zip file. All discrete components including AWR1243 are missing, when it is imported.

DEFINE 12xx_fr4_cz_lib worklib

INCLUDE $CONCEPT_INST_DIR/share/cdssetup/cds.lib

INCLUDE W:/ADW_Library/reflib/model_sym/cds.lib

Hi,

to be more specific:

reading 1243_mmwave_evm.cpm file with Design Entry HDL, part of Cadence Allegro 17.2

Problem we believe is the cds.lib file below. There is no W:/ folder so tool complains. The customer tried finding the ADW_library folder in the Database in vain.

DEFINE 12xx_fr4_cz_lib worklib
INCLUDE $CONCEPT_INST_DIR/share/cdssetup/cds.lib
INCLUDE W:/ADW_Library/reflib/model_sym/cds.lib

Hello Gunter,
The design libraries are available only in the TI network. If you have installed the tool based on the TI installation instructions on the ESD page the W:\ will be mapped automatically.

a customer is trying to use the design libraries. Is there a way that a customer can replicate what TI does internally?
