CCS/AWR1642: Problem in loading the software in awr1642 using sdk 2.0.0.04

How to check the EVM ES2.0. Nothing is written on the Packaging. Where it will be sir?

I am getting the error as attached in the screenshot below.

Another obvious thing to check is that you have removed the jumper on SOP2 and power cycled the EVM prior to connecting to the CCS debugger. You should also be using CCS 7.3 or newer. Make sure the NERR light is not on.

I am using CCS7.4 but still not able to download.

Perhaps try deleting the .ccxml file you are using the launch the debugger and create a new one. You can also try flashing the provided .bin for the demo and see if that runs.

The error shown above indicates that the debugger is not able to take control of the cores. Two likely reasons for this are 1) there's an issue with the board (eg. the NERR light is on, or it's in a state where the cores cannot be stopped (unlikely), or nothing is flashed to the EVM). 2) there's an error in the .ccxml file such that it is trying (incorrectly) to attach to the cores. I think the more likely of the two is an issue on the CCS side.

First, try deleting your AWR1642_xxxx.ccxml file, and recreate it following the steps shown in section 4.4.3 of the mmWave SDK user guide. Once created, start the debugger by right clicking on the new ccxml and selecting "Launch Debugger".

If that doesn't work, a more painful but sometimes necessary step is to delete your CCS installation and reinstall. It is possible that you are missing a required component.
