Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding the DBF processing for estimating the AoA from the target. I am using now the HW tool chain: AWR1243BOOST + DEVPACK + TSW1400EVM to capture the radar ADC data.
Now, while looking at the AWR1243 datasheet, you find this figure:
If I understand correctly, is not possible to perform DBF given the fact that the phase can only be shifted either 0 or 180 deg. Is this correct?
My second question is. The AWR1243BOOST has 4RX antennas. If we analyze the ADC data, we will get data from 4 different channels (Channel = RX antenna). So, if we perform a windowing method (e.g. Hanning) + FFT (across channels), is this considered as a DBF algorithm/technique?.
