LDC1314EVM: Red LED Function LDC1314 EVM ?

Hi guys,

I have a custom coil at my LDC1314 and the red LED is on, but the functionality is not limited. So what is the problem and what is the funktion of this LED in general?

    What do you mean by "functionality is not limited"? Are you able to interact with the EVM and use the configuration and streaming pages of the GUI?

    I've looked through the code, and the red LED should be on in a couple of different cases:

    - During initialization there is a brief period where the red LED will be on.
    - The red light will blink if there is a problem with I2C communication.

    You could also try updating the EVM firmware to the latest version. You can find the .txt file in the Sensing Solutions EVM GUI 1.x.x -> EVM Firmware -> LDC1314EVM_RevX (where X is A or B according to the rev of the EVM which is listed on the back side of the EVM).
