AWR1642BOOST: Visualize the Short Range Radar lab data.

as i'm using AWR1642BOOST EVM, while using the demo in mmwave_automotive_toolbox_2_0_0 for the short range radar, i'm not able to use the gui provided. It's throwing error with opening the ports. Is thre any other alternate way i can visualize this data coming?

help ASAP.

Please let us know which operating system you are using on your PC.

Would you be able to re-build the gui using the matlab source files?

i'm using windows 10. Using a Matlab version 2017b. I trieed to rebuild the package using the '.prj. file but still the gui isn't working and throwing up the same error with opening the ports.
Can you please guide me to the steps how to re-build the gui, if i have gone wrong somewhere?

I'm constantly getting this error while i run this 'confgureSport.m' file. i think some files are missing for this package. can you please check. As i'm not able too find where the "comportSnum " variable is declared.

What version of mmWave SDK are you using? The SDK 2.0 port of the SRR demo has not yet been placed in the toolbox. So you need to be using SDK 1.2 with an ES1 version of the chip.

This lab is in automotive toolbox 2.0 and yes i'm using sdk 1.2 only. I didn't get what you mean by "The SDK 2.0 port of the SRR demo has not yet been placed in the toolbox."

By "SDK 2.0 port" I meant that the version of the SRR demo in the 2.0 toolbox is still applicable to SDK 1.2. I think the problem is that you are trying to run the wrong Matlab file. A much easier way to run the GUI is shown in the developer's guide. See the third bullet on page 4 (Step 3: Run the Lab). It shows how to start the pre-built GUI via a DOS command window.
