AWR1642BOOST: AWR1642BOOST SRR software with different FOVS.

Hi,

we are using awr1642 boost SRR code.we have a requirement now to have 3 SRR softwares with different FOVS(RANGE coverage,velocity and other parameters remain same )

a)software 1 will have FOV +60 and -60 angle of coverage(we understand this is default available in SRR code provided by TI)

b)software 2 will have FOV +50 and -50 angle of coverage(we want to achieve this).

c)software 3 will have FOV +40 and -40 angle of coverage(we want to achieve this).

Is it possible to achieve this with AWR1642 boost with software changes on SRR code alone? If so,Could you guide us to achieve requirements in b and c.

Hi,

The FOV is a characteristic of the antenna.

For b,c, can you just ignore the additional information? YOu could modify the GUI to display only the smaller FOV

Thank you.More than doing it in display part,Is it possible to do with existing hardware(awr1642boost SRR code).

we were looking at SRR CODE below

Cfg_ChannelCfgInitParams()

If we rewrite below line

ptrChannelCfg->rxChannelEn = RX_CHANNEL_1_2_3_4_ENABLE;(60 deg FOV)

ptrChannelCfg->rxChannelEn = RX_CHANNEL_2_3_ENABLE;(30 deg FOV?)

Can I achieve fov of 30degress without any other changes and problems?
