1.My project is measuring the water level of a tank. The tank height is approximately 2 meters. I can measure the water from 17cm to 57 cms without any problem but after the GUI is displaying a very high value. But, after changing the value of TIMING REG, it displays the measurement correctly. Is there any method, so that I can fix configuration settings that will measure from say 10cms to 2 Meters?
2. I read that the maximum time period that can be measured is around 8ms, which if I am not wrong will be approximately 6 meters. I just want to know how this time period is measured, is there any way for increasing it?.
3. Also, since my application requires long distance measurement, should I use any boost circuit to get satisfactory echo response?
this is configuration I have set up before it started showing wrong value.
