AWR1243: Processor SDK Radar for AWR1243 cascaded version

Hello,

Is it possible to use given Processor SDK Radar for two or four cascaded version of AWR1243 with TDA3x or it is just useful for one AWR1243 with TDA3x? It has been mentioned in the file "chains_common_ar12xx.c", that we can select the number of Radars. Or whether there will be different Processor SDK Radar for two or four cascaded version of cascaded AWR1243?

Hi Neil,

The latest release Processor SDK Radar v3.3 supports the satellite configuration of the Radars where multiple radar devices are connected via FPDLink.
We have an upcoming Processor SDK Radar v3.4 release happening towards end of 2Q 2018 which will support four chip cascade configuration connected to TDA2x.

Thank you for your informative answer. The Processor SDK Radar which will be released for four cascaded version with TDA2x, whether the same SDK could also be used for two cascaded AWR1243 ?

Yes.. you can use this for 2-chip cascade as well.
