I am trying to run High Accuracy Lab Demo (LAB4) and ran into following problem and can't proceed.

I am using high_accuracy_14xx_lab_user_guide. When I try to do following;

Press "LOAD CONFIG FROM PC AND SEND" button and select the profile_2db.txt or profile_2de.txt* under C:\ti\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_<ver>\labs\lab0004-high-accuracy-14xx\lab0004-high-accuracy-14xx_pjt

I get following error;

I tried both the files and get same error. How to get rid of this error?

The Picture got lost in the message.

The error I am getting is "Error: Missing Command cfarCfg"

If I tried to load the cfg file, I get following "Error: Missing Command dfeDataOutputMode".

Hi Akash,

I am evaluating mmWave sensors for two applications. In one I need to measure up to 50 meters with accuracy of 1cm.

Other application I need to measure up to 1 meter with accuracy of 1mm.

I just tried to run the Vital sign demo and it didn’t work.

Could you please send the links as outline in the following slide?

I got the pdf from your website, but it doesn’t have the link.

Are you using the high accuracy visualizer as suggested in the user guide? Not the mmw demo visualizer. Just to check..

Changing from demo visualizer to high accuracy visualizer high accuracy demo worked fine.

Demo is working now for highly reflective object, but it doesn't work with not so reflective object (e.g. brown card board box).

How can I make it work against brown card board box? It works fine if I replace brown card board box with white card board box.

Kiran,

Each target has its own RCS (radar cross section). Try using items with higher reflection. Metal plate works very well and card board is very absorbent of radar signal.

Thanks, Michelle. It worked with metal plate.
I am now stuck on page 25 of the user guide. When I click on "Import to IDE", I get Error "Error Importing Project. Device-id "IWR1443" is not recognized!". How can I get rid of this error? I am using Windows 7 laptop and I checked the Install Pre-requisites on page 23 of the user guide.
I checked everything, except mmwave device support package (1.5.5 or later). How to check this and where to get the latest package.

When installing CCS, have you selected mmwave radar devices as supported devices?

You are right on. I had CCS7.4 version loaded last year for MSP432.

I just loaded CCS8 with MSP430/2 and mmWave sensors. Now I managed to import, connect, load and run.
