FDC1004 when used as water level sensor, 4 electrodes have been used as shown in videos and demos.
2 electrodes for reference and level i understand. Are the remaining 2 electrodes connected to shield or Ground pins of the FDC1004?

Hi Sripriya,
We recommend using the Out of Phase technique for liquid level sensing, which helps shield the system from external interference. In this technique, the additional electrodes are both connected to the same shield pin. The reference and level electrodes are also shielded by connections to the other shield pin. I've attached a diagram that should help. The diagram is from the Out of Phase Liquid Level Technique app note, which should help you further.
