Hi,

I was comparing the specifications of the AWR1642 and AWR1443 and notice that there is a DSP onboard the 1642 EVM while there is a hardware accelerator on the 1443 EVM. I wanted to know what are the implications of each of these features, and which is advantageous over the other. Does the accelerator imply I would not be able to deploy my own signal processing algorithms ?

    Hi,

    Please review the documentation of the Hardware Accelerator. If you intend to use xWR1443, you will be able to implement only the processing algorithms supported by the HWA.

    With the DSP you will have more flexibility
