AWR1642BOOST: Device Support Package Update within CCS query

Hi,

I am going through the mmWaveSDK userguide. In the section 4.4.2, Device Support Package Update : it is said to check within the CCS installation. But In CCS,Help-> installation details, I dont see anything as mmwave device support. From where should I update it? How we can we find it in CCS? Did I miss it during the initial installation itself?

Please install CCS v8. It should include latest packages, no need to update

Hi Cesar,

To run the usecases related to mmWave SDK or AWR1642 demos , we need CCS8. CCS7.4 won't work. Am I correct?

Hi Cesar,

I installed CCSv8 and tried to import the demo lab- gesture recognition . I encountered the following error:
Error: Product 'SYS/BIOS' v6.53.2.00 is not currently installed and no compatible version is available. Please install this product or a compatible version.

Please help me to resolve the error.

Hi Varsha,

Are you still having this problem? The approved version of SYS/BIOS is included when you install the mmWave-SDK. I'd recommend downloading the mmWave-SDK 2.0 (or version 1.2 if you purchased an EVM before May 2018).
