OPT8241: Maximum Distance using the Hex Led configuration

Hi,

I have the OPT8241-CDK-EVM and i feel it is ok for the solution i am working on.

The problem with this solution is the cost of the LEDs that you use, so i have a few questions concerning the use of Hex LEDs that are marked as DNP.

1 - What is the maximum distance we can obtain using the SFH4715S LEDs?

2 - Do they need the diffuser as well?
