IWR1642: Changes in UART Output data sent between 1.0 and 1.2

Hi, 

I have used a IWR1642 with SDK 1.0 and was able to read the data from the sensor with my own code. I have recently upgraded the firmware to 1.2, but the same program is unable to read the data. 

Is there a change in the data format sent to from the UART from 1.0 and 1.2?
