Dear sir,

               i am having problem in calculating TOF vales,now am able to read timer registers of completely and only one clock count register  and  i am getting zero in other clock count registers and am calculating the TOF using the formula that has been suggested in measurement mode2 of the tdc7200 data sheet. but even there is no flow of water am getting TOF but when water is flowing all registers read as infinity or overflow

    Hi Rashmi,

    Even at zero flow you should still read a one way time of flight. The delta time of flight between the upstream and downstream measurements should be close to 0, but the either the upstream or downstream time of flights alone should make sense for the distance between the transducers.

    In order to better help you can you please post your hardware configuration (schematic if possible) and the register configurations for both the TDC1000 and TDC7200 in your system?
