AWR1642: About the detection distance

Hi SIr

Did TI do below two experiment to measure how far the mmwave can detect object?

a. in heavy rain condition

b. put the evm in a swimming pool

please advise and thanks for your help.

Hi Yimin,

mmWave is capable of detection in rainy conditions, an experiment was performed here: dev.ti.com/.../

mmWave is not capable of detecting objects inside a body of water unfortunately.
