OPT101: OPT210 alternative

Hi everyone!

We have an old laser energy monitor, which is ruined. Our electrician hhas found, that some chips burned out or not working. One of them is a monolithic photodiode, called OPT210. I have tried to buy one, but I couldn't find it on the internet, just datasheets. The former producer was the Burr-Brown Corporation, which is now integrated into the TI.

So, because I really need this photodiode, I have two questions:

Where can I buy this?

Could I subsitute with an other one? If yes, which will be suitable?

    Hi,

    1) OPT210 has been discontinued. If you can find a distributor that still has stock that would be the only option for buying, but I have not been able to find any with stock.

    2) OPT101 does seem to be the most similar. There are differences to consider. For example, I noticed is that the feedback resistor is internal in the OPT101 and external in the OPT210. The voltage ranges and other parameters also differ so you would want to check through the datasheet to make sure they meet your requirements.
