Is there standard support planned for a Matlab Embedded Coder Support Package for the IWR1642 as a product ? I know there is support for the R4F and C674x already available but it doesn't comprehend an IWR device or board.

MathWorks and TI have had some initial discussions on this topic. While there is no current development project working on in this, this could be something we collaborate on in the future.

In the interim, I would suggest you explore the existing ARM Cortex-R Support from Embedded Coder. This can be used to build custom support for any ARM Cortex R device, although it uses RM57x as an illustrative example.
