Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1443
Hi,
I am working with the AWR1443BOOST and DCA1000EVM.
When going through the DCA1000EVM Quick Start Guide, I encountered the following issue with ethernet connection to the PC interface (NOTE: Ethernet to USB adapter is used) :
When 5V power supply is connected to AWR1443 directly, 5V and NRST lights come on and remain on. FPGA_DONE_LED light comes on, and remains on, on the DCA1000EVM. Ethernet port on DCA1000EVM does not light up, however, and no ethernet connection appears on computer. All other cables are attached to cards as directed in the Quick Start Guide.
When 5V power supply is connected to DCA1000EVM directly, SD_DETECT, 5V_LED, FPGA_DONE_LED, and Ethernet port lights come on and stay on. 5V and NRST lights come on and remain on on AWR1443. All other cables are attached to cards as directed in the Quick Start Guide.
The issue is that when power supply is connected to DCA1000EVM directly, network appears to be connected via Ethernet but only 4 ports appear in the device manager: AR-DevPack-EVM-012 (COM13), AR-DevPack-EVM-012(COM13), AR-DevPack-EVM-012(COM13), and AR-DevPack-EVM-012(COM13). When power supply is connected to AWR1443 directly, 6 ports appear, the ones listed above as well as XDS110 Class Application/User UART (COM3) and XDS110 Class Auxiliary Data Port (COM4), but there is no network that appears connected via Ethernet.
How can I fix this issue to ensure that all 6 necessary ports appear AND I am successfully able to establish a connection between the EVM and computer via Ethernet?
Best,
Khalid
