I was wondering why some of TI parts are being discontinued and replaced with parts that have the same part number but with the suffix "NOPB" or 'X/NOPB" parts. What is the meaning of the "NOPB" suffix?
Thank You,
Brandon

Hello Brandon,
The use of NOPB at the end of the part number indicates "lead-free packaging", i.e. "no Pb". This specification is required for certain markets.
