TSW1400EVM: continuous ADC raw data capture

Dear all,

I would like to capture the ADC raw data from my AWR1642BOOST device.

In order to do that I have a TSW1400EVM and a mmWave development pack.

I need to record data from the AWR1642BOOST continously for a while (for example 30s or 60s) in order to build our own raw dataset on which we can simulate offline our algorithms with our Matlab tools.

a) What is the best way to do it?

b) The TSW1400EVM has 1GB RAM and so maybe it is not enough to record 60s of raw ADC data. Do you agree?

c) Is it the DCA1000EVM more suitable for this purpose?

The DCA1000 evaluation module (EVM) provides real-time data capture and streaming for two- and four-lane low-voltage differential signaling (LVDS) traffic from TI radar-sensor BoosterPack EVMs (connected with AWR1642BOOST).

With this Capture card you can capture raw data in real time, so you can choose this EVM to fulfill your data capture requirement.
