I have already installed Matlab R2017a（9.2）.

But is not working .

When I open (pplcount_demo_gui_ <version> .exe) this step .
Same as the show error message (Could not find version 9.2 MATLAB Runtime)

Do not understand why this situation .

You need to ensure that the Matlab Runtime is in your systems PATH. Otherwise, the executable cannot find it.

But i click(Connect) then click start . Show the error message (Can not start COM ports not connected.Please select and connect.)

2. If mmWave Demo Visualizer is enabled, People counting setup com port can't connect.
These 2 Visualizers can't work at the same time??
I found that People counting setup com port can't connect after opening mmWave Demo Visualizer.

Only one visualizer can be running at a time, as they use the same com ports. Please shut down the visualizer and try again.

Hi,

Please check the version of your device. If it is an IWR1642, it will have a sticker that reads "IWR1642ES2.0" if it is ES2.0. Otherwise, it is ES1.0. For ES1.0, please use Industrial toolbox 2.3.0. For ES2.0, you can use the latest version, which is 2.5.0.

It will disappear in about 8 minutes after opening the people counting setup window.

The device is not responding over UART to the Matlab GUI. Ensure there is a jumper on SOP0, and no jumper on SOP1 or SOP2. Then power cycle the device before trying again.  Can you confirm that you have an ES1.0 device? This is unclear from your previous response.

Please test your board with the Out of Box demo, as it does not require Matlab.  Afterwards, follow the steps here, under the "Quickstart" section, to run the People Counting demo.

Why does connect matlab detect no signal, com port can sometimes connect to it, sometimes it can't connect, even if com port can connect to matlab,

there will be an error message after about 10 minutes after click start (can not start com port Not connected)

Are there any restrictions on your Matlab install, for example, company policies that limit what a program on your PC can do? It seems Matlab is not able to interact with the hardware in your machine. Are you able to run any of the other Matlab based demos?

The Matlab version needs to be 9.2, which is 2017a. We do not support any other versions.
