Hello,

The IF signal is valid only in the time interval where both the TX chirp and the RX chirp overlap as shown in Figure below.

There is a ADC sampling window which is determined by parameter ADC start time, number of ADC samples and sampling rate. Should the ADC sampling window be in the overlap interval?  By my observation in the mmWave demo visualizer configuration command, the ADC sampling window takes 85% duration of the chirp. It seems that the ADC sampling window exceeds the overlap interval.

    The sampling time ends at the same time as the ramp end . Some buffer time is needed for the VCO to settle and being ramping to ensure a high quality linear ramp that can be used when comparing the TX chirp and RX chirp.
