IWR1642BOOST: How to detect people 100m ahead with mmWave Demo Visualizer

Hi,everyone.

I am trying to detect a person 100 m ahead (in front of radar) using Demo Visualizer.

Using mmWave Sensing Estimator, I just tried to create some chirp parameters that can sense 100 m and copied profileCfg and frame Cfg to the default Cfg file.
With this Cfg file, can Demo Visualizer detect people 100 m ahead?

Hi Takuma,

The chirp you have can detect a target past 100m. However, this does not mean it will detect a human. Experimentally, TI has not verified human detection past 55 meters. For details on our 50m human detection chirp, see the People Counting Lab.
