Hi team,

Why the mmwave sensing estimator give the chirp timing value is different to Radar studio?

If these 2 timing value is different, which one can be trust?

And what's the meaning of 90%, 99% settle time.

Hi Wesley,

The Sensing Estimator is more of a guideline and for now RadarStudio should be more trust worthy. We will work to sync up these results.

The 90, 95 and 99% settling terms mainly refer to the time needed for the step response of the filter chain to settle to 90/95/99% of the target value. This impacts the ADC start time and therefore the other parameters.

For regular use, which one is prefer? Which one is most risky?

Wesley,

The time needed for the step response of the chain to settle at 99% is higher than for 90%.

The 99% settling is the least risky as you provide more time for settling.
