DCA1000EVM： Problems with Ethernet connection on Windows 10

Hello,everyone.

I am using the DCA1000 and IWR1642BOOST(ES1.0).

I have hard coded the IP address according to the user guide and connected the Ethernet cable to DCA 1000 EVM.

When I chose "Set up DCA 1000" in mmWave Studio, the Windows 10 PC can not detect the FPGA and the version is displayed as 0.0.0.0.

The errors that occurred are as follows.

However I install the same software and driver on Windows 7 and try it, the FPGA will be detected.

Is there any solution to using DCA 1000 with Window 10?

Hello Takuma-San,
Looks like network setup is not proper on Win10 system (PC static IP address).
I would request you to follow mmWave Studio user guide to setup DCA1000 EVM.

Also consider not trying to set up the DCA1000 until after you have completed all of the necessary steps in the "Connection", "StaticConfig", and "DataConfig" tabs.

Thank you for your reply.
Today, I set up DCA 1000 EVM according to mmWave Studio user guide and tried FPGA connection.
However,FPGA was still not detected.
I tried running the script (DataCaptureDemo_xWR.lua) and succeeded, FPGA was also detected.
After that, it was able to detect the FPGA even without script execution, and the problem was solved.
Please tell me if there was any special meaning to script execution.
