am not able to install uniflash , showing error like this:

Could not display “uniflash_sl.4.4.0.1922.run”.

There is no application installed for “executable” files.
Do you want to search for an application to open this file?

Hi ,

You can try to give execute permission to the "uniflash_sl.4.4.0.1922.run" .

Use below command

$ chmod a+x uniflash_sl.4.4.0.1922.run

Now check if you are able to install it.

hi
i installed uniflash, connected IWR1642 to PC via USB cable, powered ON 1642 EVM, but not able to install MMWAVE-SDK .
Showing error like this:
image loading failed:not able to connect serial port. recheck com port selected and/or selection.

As mentioned in the error message , did you check that you have selected the right COM port?

where to check, in windows i can check in device manager, but in ubuntu ??????

This looks like a permission problem . Add user name to the dialout group may help resolve the problem.
You can also look for Ubuntu issues in Google . It may be faster that way.
