TDC1000: start and stop pin interfacing with tdc7200 and microcontroller

Hello,

Is it necessary to give start and stop signal to microcontroller before tdc7200....? ,because am directly connecting stop and start pin from tdc1000 to tdc7200 but am not getting proper readings from tdc7200 i,e tof values my circuit for tdc 7200 is exactly same tdcevm board but there is lot of fluctuation in TOF values from tdc7200.

Please let me know if you would like to not use the MSP device and use the TDC7200 to find the TOF measurements ? How do you communicate with the TDC1000 & TDC7200 without the microcontroller.

Send me a plot of the STOP/START & COMPIN.
