AWR1642BOOST: Getting error: SAMPLING RATE IS NOT WITHIN [2, 37.5] Msps when I used a sampling rate of 10,000 ksps

When setting chirp profile configuration, I get the error ''SAMPLING RATE IS NOT WITHIN [2, 37.5] Msps'' when I have entered a sampling rate of 10000ksps, which is evidently within the range [2,37.5] Msps. The error is resolved when i change the sampling rate to 5000ksps, but I don't see why there should be an upper bound for the sampling frequency.

  • Hi John,

    Maximum sampling rate for AWR1642 is 6.25msps for complex and 12.5msps for real. So if you use 10msps and complex, you will get error.

    Error code doesn't seem correct but it indicates that Sampling rate is out of range.
