hi,

We are looking for method for measuring liquid level in Flooded Cell Batteries.

Can you recommend us some solutions, and help customer to decide which one is the better technology to use (inductive or capacitive sensing)?

Hi Vincenzo,

Inductive sensing is not suitable for liquid-level sensing applications because the target must be highly conductive with very controlled movement. We recommend capacitive sensing for these applications. Because conductive liquids will drain charge from switched-capacitor based sensors, you would need to use one of our resonant-based capacitive sensors (the FDC2x1x series).
