Hi everyone.

I'm using OPT3101EVM and try to i2c with my MCU.
When I test the i2c, I want to check the register value which is read by i2c.
Can I get the register value which currently set on OPT3101EVM?

Hi Daniel,

It is possible to interface to external micro controller to do i2c read (write) operation from (to) the OPT3101 device.

Can you please clarify the following about your question.

1. Are you trying to read OPT3101 i2c bus using another i2c controller while the MCU on the EVM is connected to the i2c bus and performing the read/write operations

2. Are you planning to disconnect the MCU on the EVM and use external MCU to perform i2c operations.

Hi Raja

I'll plan to use the external MCU to perform i2c operation.
But before using it, I'm testing i2c operation.
Now, Both are connected, external MCU and MCU on the EVM.
I'm testing to read OPT3101 i2c bus using external MCU while the MCU on the EVM doesn't perform i2c.

Slave ID doesn't configure correctly
