OPT3007: Need a reference design of OPT3007

Hi team,

My customer started to design the PCB using OPT3007 and checked with us about the ref design. I can't find one. the EVM and ref design links of OPT3007 are all pointed to OPT3006. but these two have different package. please kindly guide on this. thanks.

Hi Yue,

We do not have a OPT3007EVM. However, the OPT3007 is the same as OPT3006 with 2 pins switched to NC (not connected) to allow for more relaxed cutout requirements. OPT3006EVM should still be a good reference only difference if that the cutout could be made a big bigger near the NC pins on OPT3007. Also the OPT3006 FoV simulator tool can be used to simulate cutouts if your customers wants a bigger cutout than on the OPT3006EVM.

Thanks for the reply. but I can't find the ref design PCB file of OPT3006EVM. There is only a user guide.

Thanks first. But your attached design even didn't include a gerber file of the “Flex board with cutout". can you help to further check?
