AWR1642BOOST: Difference in RAW ADC Data Collection

Hey...

I have been able to collect Raw ADC Data using three mentioned methods.

1) AWR1642Boost using CCS and teraterm.

2) AWR1642Boost + mmWave-devpack using CCS and teraterm

3) AWR1642Boost + mmWave-Devpack + TSW1400EVM using Radar Studio and HSDC pro

Can anyone kindly guide me which method to use and why a particular method is better than other?

Also,

If we use:

4) AWR1642Boost+ DCA1000, what added benefit can we get in terms of data captured.

I reckon, in all the 4 cases, we won't be able to get the Raw ADC data in real time?

Hi

3) is better than 1) and 2) because it allows to capture 10sec of raw data

4) is better than 3) because it allows to capture unlimited duration of raw data (since data is transmitted to hard drive through ethernet)

One last question.
For how long, does the method 1 and 2 using CCS captures data?

Hi Anum,

TSW can record data for 40 seconds by default and up to 120 if certain code level modifications are made.

Confirming again,
Previously, I was told that TSW1400evm can read data for 10secs.
It is 10sec, or 40sec?
