Please provide the thermal resistance values (theta JB and theta JC) for part TMP442ADCNT. Thank you.

Hi Alison,

We don’t have θjc, but θja is given as 170⁰C/W.

To get the exact number for θjc, we will need to run thermal modeling which may take a few weeks from the time request is put in. Can you tell me why the customer wants θjc, θjb? I would think θja is more useful unless some sort of heat sink is planned for the part.

We use the data to determine whether a heat sink is needed for circuit boards that we design.
