my customer use IWR1642 for a radar, its purpose is detect near barrier,incuded human body,other vehicle and so on.

customer had purchased IWR16342BOOST,but this EVM cant detect more than 200m meters,it cant meet customer's demand,

can you help me to how to adjust parameter or adjust the schematic?

what your provide weblink is not ARW1642，and it alsodont give me any resolve method.

The answer provided in the previous E2E post is applicable to IWR1642 in addition to IWR1443. You will need either a different type of antenna pattern or a lens mounted to the EVM.

dear kyle,
my customer said,if they increase the antennar gain to twice,the detect distance will be 160m,below their expired distance 200m.
if continue increase the gain,the effect is not obvious.
can you give other good suggestion.

The suggestions from my previous post still hold. You will need either a different type of antenna pattern or a lens mounted to the EVM. You could also look in a cascade solution. One possible is four AWR1243 devices that are cascaded together and all four are controlled by an external processor.
