I want to know whether the DCA1000 can collect data in the mode of only receive signals without sending and how to set?

Is there any resources for reference?

Hi,

Let me rephrase your question, the goal is to use DCA1000 to collect data without sending command to IWR1642.
Yes, that's possible.
IWR1642 can be configured through other software, for example, mmw demo to have mmwave radar running. On DCA1000 side, switch 2.5 can be used to select whether DCA1000 is configured through hardware or software. When the DCA1000EVM is configured in hardware switch configuration mode, LVDS bit setting and other functionality can be selected through on-board switch as well.

Thanks for the quick reply , I want to know how can I ues DCA1000 and IWR1642 to collect data at the same time the IWR1642 doesn't send signal? I want to use another IWR1642 to send signal. Can I? and How？

Hi Lu,

Could you give more details of your ideal hardware setup? are the two IWR1642 on separate EVM? Name them A and B, how are the connected to DCA1000? What's the use case application?
