Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1642
We are about to try to get FCC approval for our product that uses the AWR1642 for tank level monitoring. After seeing some other AWR1642: FCC/CE approvals TI email chains, it looks as if this may not be required for FCC15.256 tank monitoring. We have filled out all of the forms and even chosen a test lab but if this is not required, then we obviously prefer not to go through the pain.

Is the AWR1642 approved for tank level measurement under FCC15.256? If yes, please send documentation.
Can we have a handful of customer evaluation demo units in the field without FCC approval?
