Hi SIr

We saw the description from the spec as below

6.2 Individual Transmitter Binary Phase Modulation (BPM)

TI’s radar device allows each of the transmitter outputs to be modulated by a phase of 0° or 180°.

This allows usage of multiple transmitters simultaneously by using mutually uncorrelated binary codes.

hence,improving the effective SNR.

The phase configuration is done by the “rlSetBpmChirpConfig” API. For details on BPM and MIMO radar,

see MIMO Radar .

Q1: We want to know that RF Front End could decode mutually uncorrelated binary codes according to the TX setting ?

Q2:Since each receive antenna will have received echo with different delays.

After the decoding, how I can get the information about the delays? It is better if I can know how it decodes. Is it doing decode the

echo on DSP or other than RF Front?

Hello Yimin,
The decoding is done as part of the processing chain you would implement in the DSP . That does not happen in the front end. You get all the raw data from the front end to the DSP and then based on the coding used on the transmit side you can decode it accordingly. How about the data flow? And, the buffer? Do you know how to arrange the buffer?

Is any code ready for that? Is the memory enough for this purpose ?

please advise or where can we find the information ?

Hello Yimin,
The data flow and ADC buffer arrangement for BPM are same as for non BPM case. Only the processing has to be changed appropriately.
