AWR1243: VIOIN at 1.8V

Hi,

a customer is trying to see if they can run the CMOS I/O at 1.8v for the AWR1243. The pin description for the VIOIN pin on R13 shows that it can be either 1.8V or 3.3V. The datasheet however only shows MIN/NOM/MAX specs for 3.3V on this pin. What are the 1.8V specs?

Also what CMOS I/O is operating on the VIOIN voltage exactly?

Hi Gunter,

The limits will be the same as the VIOIN_18 supply, 1.71V to 1.9V. I will bring this up with the internal team and get back with a response. In any case the datasheet should be updated to make this requirement explicit.

Hi Gunter,

I confirmed this. If you look at the AWR1642 datasheet you can see we included this reference. This should be addressed in the RTM release of the datasheet later.
